Current picture of Caroline and Sadie

The owners sent us a current picture of our former fosters Caroline and Sadie (now known as Mollie and Truffles).  They will always be "our girls" but we are so glad they have such a great forever home.

Cody passed away

Our sweet, loving boy Cody passed away on Sunday, June 18.  His passing basically from old age was peaceful. We will miss having his great Brittany spirit around.  We had him for 3 years and 2 months after getting him as a rescue.  Now that he has left his old body behind I hope he can run and play again on the other side of the rainbow bridge.
RIP boy.

Cody update

Cody turns 15 this month. 15 is old for a Brittany. They have a normal life span of 12-14.
Cody has his issues but he still enjoys life, has a good appetite and has a strong heart according to our vet.
He has a degenerative eye disease and is slowly going blind but for now he can still see except for when he is in the bright sunlight.  Nothing can be done according to the vet.
We've had him for 3 years.
His sister Abby is doing great. It's hard to believe she is 9.

Update

Our dogs are doing well.  They stayed at Bed & Biscuit again over the Christmas holidays.
Cody is approaching 15 years old.  He still enjoys life.  Abby will be 9 in less than a week.  It's hard to believe she's 9.  She still has the energy of a 2 year old.
